MarketCross has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious World Public Relations and Communication Awards for its PR campaign #HablemosDeCookies (#Let’sTalkAboutCookies) carried out in Argentina and Brazil in conjunction with its client Avast.
#HablemosDeCookies has been nominated for the “Media Relations and Influencers Campaign“ category along with two other international entries: PT Astra International Tbk (Indonesia), and Tastic, Tiger Bands in conjunction with DNA Brand Architects (South Africa). The winners will be announced on September 21, in India.
In 2022, Claudia Lima (Account Director Brazil) and Francine Cabrera (Account Manager), ran the #HablemosDeCookies campaign in Argentina and Brazil focusing on two clear objectives: to convey Avast’s key messages through targeted media to educate a wide audience about internet cookies; and to circulate valuable information on the subject through social media, using an entertaining and educational approach.

The World Public Relations and Communication Awards is a global competition that recognizes outstanding campaigns that achieve the highest levels of strategic planning, creativity and business outcomes. The awards are organized by The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, the confederation of the world’s leading public relations and communication management associations and institutions, representing more than 360 thousand practitioners and academics around the world.
